@Xanthus I think as with every phobia it can be overcome by confronting it. Fear of clowns is a bit of a tricky one as it's always been around. Stephen King exploited the concept but the job of a clown is to cause emotional reactions and as well as laughter it can also be fear. My sis normally starts with explaining how she's an actor always playing the same role-the caracter that she has developed over the years and which will grow old with her, puts on the make up, costume, etc. Shows how miming works, etc. It can help people to see the real person behind the costume
She's bloody hilarious and spends most of her time in kids' hospitals so she has a very slapstick/physical kind of humour.

Hey what's everyone up to this weekend??

Last night a a stayed with my parents as they're all away out for the day but I didn't wanna go and I have so much housework to do!

So far I've moved Ava's room around to get her used to how it will be when we change the bed, and I've moved the living room around and painted a wall red! Slowly getting their. Eliminating a lot of toys from the living room and sorting out stuff she doesn't play with anymore and putting it away!

Had a good sleep without a small child lying on me or kicking me so I'm cracking on today. But I'm tired already'!

I've been doing a lot of housework too. I've dismantled the fireplace and sat it upstairs ready to go in the loft, moved Dexter's table to where the fireplace was and that cleared the laminate. I've also mopped the laminate, cleaned the skirting boards, done a washing and the dishes, dismantled the carpet washer and gave it a good clean before using it on the pouffe.

Now waiting on my dad coming to take me for a shopping, and to go collect a dining table and chairs from my gran. (hence clearing half the livingroom this morning!)

      Also its my birthday

Happy birthday @Xanthus can't believe you're spending your day cleaning!

I'm meant to be cleaning too in preparation for my landlord coming to inspect the house as we handed in our notice yesterday. We're finally moving to a long term family home!! I'm so excited.
Arianna has decided to interfere with my plans by having a temperature and being whiny as well as producing a constant stream of disgusting nappies for me to contend with. Poor baby girl.

Lachlan is having a growth spurt. I started trying to get ready to go out at half 1! Still only made it as far as half dressed with wet hair. We just need to nip to asda. Sigh.

In other news, im back to pre pregnancy weight already and have been eating chocolate every night! yay for breastfeeding!

I love the horror nights at Universal. DH and I have been twice. They are really scary. Haunted houses that you walk through seeing acted out gory scenes and having people jump out at you. I must have one of those easily scared looking faces as I got targeted all the time and hardly anyone bothered DH. Even in the general areas they have it full of people dressed as zombies, hells angels etc. I would love to go back! Definitely not somewhere to take the kids though. We did see some kids there that looked only 10 or so and I'd consider it to be far too scary for even that sort of age! xx
