Long Term TTC/Fertility Issues
I thought that I'd start a thread for any TTC long termers or anyone with fertility issues. It can get pretty lonely and frustrating when in a massive sea of pregnant women wherever you go, sooooo.... who wants to join me ?? (maybe 'want' is the wrong word ?
)

Yeah, sorry, I don't 'want' to join you, but I will....
I know what you mean about the sea of pregnant women, feels like not a week goes by without someone else I know announcing their pregnant and while I'm happy for them..... I just want it to be me.

This was me, twice. It took 4 years to get pg with Bella and just over a year for Jake. I have PCOS though, so makes it difficult. I'm glad I'm not going there again.
Good luck ladies.Tanya, Bella & Jake

Can I join, I've actually worked out the maths and ttc number 2 so has so far taken 18 months, as I came off the pill when izzie was 1 - that was august 2010 and so far not a sniff of a bfp - started properly tracking my cycles last november, and had a blood test which confirmed I was ovulating.
I spoke to OH last night and we have both agreed that in April we'll start the ball rolling to go to the dr if still no bfp.
Has anyone tried accupuncture? I'm tempted go give it ago

we've been trying since Q was 7 months which makes 18 months.
it took a year of irregular cycles to conceive Q with an undiagnosed underactive thyroid. Thyroid treated and regular cycles for 12 month now and not a sniff of a BFP. I've had a US since having Q to rule out PCOS, but Dr's won't count the time trying before we stopped breastfeeding so by their books we've been trying 6 months!!
here's to some BFP's in here soon!Part Time Working Mummy praying for another bump!

we've been full on trying for just coming into month 9 now, but spent 6 months prior to that sort of trying but hadn't fully made the decision if we wanted more or not yet
but we haven't actually used any contraception in 5 years
it makes all my years on the pill seem kind of pointless now !
i've made the decision to get my bloods done again so will be going early next week for my cd3 bloods to see how high my FSH has gone, i'm utterly terrified of the results
for anyone that doesn't already know my history, i have severe endometriosis, was in the premenopausual category 4 years ago and my husband has less than desirable sperm - other than all that, we're just peachy thanks

@sugarpuff. My friend is in exactly the same situation, I hope your endo regrowth is minimal and everything just magically falls into place for you
