Sainsburys have a big toy sale on. Discounts of 25%, 1/3 or 50% depending on brand. It's online too but already sold out of some stuff. I went instore and got some bargains including lovely wooden toys at half price from sainsbury's own brand. They had some nice stocking fillers too. I got bath toys and a mini wooden book for £1 each.

Ooh, will need to have a look! Thanks.
Got most of the things we're after now, it's just bits and bobs we need. Got a great bargain on the big elc rosebud house, all furniture, pets and dolls, conservatory, stables, treehouse, garden and bbq set. She currently has the cottage and farm so this is pretty much the rest of the collection which will be her main Christmas presents.
Also got her a gorgeous varsity jacket for her birthday which will look awesome with her painted converse (need to make a start on them).

Mez has been making noises about a balance bike for Alfie's pressie. He'll be 2 in march & I'm not sure whether its be better as a birthday present. I was wondering about a wheelybug thingy instead. I know lots of you have had one or the other so would appreciate any advice

Alfie is quite small isn't he? Ava's tall and almost 3 and only just the right height for e balance bike and most say 3-5 so I think I'd go for the large wheelybug!
I've got quite a lot for Ava now need to split it up bday and Xmas and see if it's enough, need to get her dolls pram too.
Decided for my mum and dad im going to get them a voucher for one night in a country house somewhere so will phone round on pay day.
Then it's just sister brother and grans rtc, need to get some glass paint and let Ava paint glasses and the aunts etc are getting a glass and a photo and some choc x

I'm just going to update here as trying to keep track of what I've got the kids.
James' Bday gifts - 3 talking Toy Story figures, Jake & The Neverland Pirates Telescope and Happyland Sherwood Castle
James' Christmas gifts - Happyland Village set, Happyland Jumbo Jet, ELC Shopping Trolley, Vtech Globe, Julia Donaldson cds, soft stuff bumper set (like playdough), Wiggles dvd, ELC craft rolling pin, toddler scissors, poster paints, plasticine, stencils, Fishing game, wooden fruit set, Thomas The Tank Engine memory game & bath swimmer toy.
Jacob's Christmas gifts - Happyland Country Train Set, Happyland School Children, Happyland Pets, Mickey Mouse Storyteller, Pluto Pull Along, small Mickey Mouse teddy, bath swimmer toy, little wooden book, abacus, sort & stack toy, wooden police car & mini Gruffalo books and the Bounce & Spin Zebra that James used to have.
That should be about it unless I get James a game for his Innotab that mum is getting him and I may get him a couple of books. Last year I got him loads of books and some have hardly been looked at as he tends to stick to old favourites. I may swap over toys between birthday and christmas for James. xx
