I count, though I rarely get past 1. I've never got to 3, so he's never had the consequence of that yet. I don't even know what happens if I get to 3
I asked him one day and he said 'big trouble' whatever that entails!
I only use counting if hes touching something like the tv or some other item that would cost me money to get fixed! Otherwise I tend to let natural consequence teach him. I.e. he was just throwing a bottle of sun tan lotion in the air and catching it, but after a couple of throws hit himself on the head
He won't be doing that again...

I think were lucky with Molly in that she hates it if something breaks, even by accident. It's a bit ocd really. Yesterday she was gutted because she "broke" a piece of bread whilst buttering it and demanded another
. So, if we say "uh oh Molly, please don't.touch.that, you could break it!" ... Generally, that's enough for her to stop. Telling her something is very sharp or very hot / she could hurt herself will stop her too, luckily.. which covers pretty much everything she can't touch. If it's not.breakable or dangerous its fair game. Makes it tough getting things like my wallet back from her though... As she knows it's.not hot, sharp or breakable! In those situations I just try for distraction or to offer a trade for something.more.interesting.
