How about, if you're worried about catching AIDS, then don't engage in risky sexual activity with hordes of people? I mean, it's obviously intended for the western world, as those ay much higher risk in Africa clearly won't be able to afford it anyway.

If you had HIV, why would you refuse to wear a condom or not take anti retroviral meds to protect someone who you are planning to have sex with? Surely thats illegal anyway? And why would you sleep with someone who thought it was OK to give you a disease which would no doubt eventually lead to your death? It seems a bit mad to me and Definitley marketed at the western world. Maybe it would be good for certain people who deal with HIV on a regular basis like HCPs who work in clinics or labs with majority HIV patients or with HIV specimens but as far as a just in case measure, it seems really unnecessary.

I think it's a really interesting advance but it's hardly a guarantee! Not worth bothering with, IMO, and anyone bothered enough to take it would surely be more cautious generally?
