      Yep, the minimum age only applies if you have no children. It's 16 if you're a parent.

      Also not sure if it helps but Since I've started working again the only benefit I'm loosing is HB and CTC, should still get a little HB I'm waiting on calculation. But my WTC basically replaces IS. Went from CTC-£53pw, IS-£120 fortnight, and now get £140pw tax credits. I've rounded figures down, I don't count CHB as goes on debts. So my weekly amount is pretty similar plus pay. Much better off!
